The 15th MENA Forex, Managed Funds and Investment Show and Conference Dubai kicks off on Thursday 26 November 2015 at the Westin Mina Seyahi Hotel, where it is expected to receive more than 1500 visitors including traders, brokers, IBs, affiliates, financial institutions, Investors, Businessmen, banks and others.
Known for being a highly positioned B2B and B2C show in the Middle East and North Africa region, the show is held on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 November with the participation of leading trading and brokerage firms, financial companies, international banks, investment institutions, technology providers, and the presence of prominent speakers and financial experts, some of whom are visiting the Middle East for the first time to share their knowledge and expertise with the audience and shed the light on latest developments in the global capital markets and technology.
Arabcom Group President Mrs. Katia Tayar said that “the conference is an annual meetingthat attracts a large number of international experts and analysts in the global trading markets, most notably Alexander Gerchik coming from Russia for the first time in the Middle East after his participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos, as well as the finance guru and expert in Asian Market Marshall Gittler, the financial analyst Noureddine Al-Hammoury, global markets specialist Amr AbdoZakaria, and others”.
Tayar added that “the exhibition organized at the sidelines of the conference includes major international brokerage firms from more than fifteen countries such as Russia, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Cyprus, New Zealand, Estonia, the United States of America, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Australia, China, Hong Kong and Canada”, noting that “40% of these companies are newly emerging in to Middle East for the first time through our show”.
Tayar stressed that “the show providestraders, brokers, investors, IBs and affiliates and visitorsinterested in experiencing the online trading markets with an easy access to the latest technology and digital trading platforms, in addition to major business and investment opportunities that entails a highlevel of knowledge and expertise”, adding that “it also offers businessmen and investors an unrivaled opportunity for partnership with exhibiting brokerage firms to establish offices and branches in the region”.
She highlighted “the importance of this annual regional event considering the total global volume of online trading through digital platforms which currently stands at more than five trillion dollars a day, twice the number in 2007 when we launched the first series on online trading-related shows in the MENA region”, confirming that “the foreign exchange market is considered by far the largest financial market in the world”.
The key note speech inaugurating the conference will be addressed by Arabcom Group President Mrs. Katia Tayar on Thursday 26 November at 11am, followed by ADS Securities’NoureddineAl-Hammoury who will answer whether the FED would raise rates in December, and Gerchik &Co’sAlexander Gerchik who will talk about innovative technologies in the trading world, then Marshall Gittler of FXPrimus who will discuss why the safe-haven JPY and CFH won’t be safe in 2016, followed by ICM Capital’s Wissam Al-Sallakhwho will explore bearish and bullish signals for the oil markets, then AmroZakariaAbdoof TradesysAdvisors who will discuss investing in the US Real Estate Market using real estate Investment Trust Funds REITs, and AiFX and Equity’s Richard Churchman who will discuss how to use predictive analytics for forecasting, and CFI Markets’ Simon-Peter Massabni who will elaborate the good, bad and ugly in today’s economy, followed by Ricardo Evangelista of ActivTrades who will shed the light on the importance of information and news in the financial markets, in addition to FXStations’ Fady Kamel who will explore traders trends, and finally Peter Leonidou of Leverate on how to establish and maintain a successful brokerage. The second day of the conference includes the presentations of abovementioned Alexander Gerchik on the risk management in the trading world, and Noureddine Al-Hammoury on the 2016 financial outlook.
The invitation is open to the public and free of charge. The show opens its doors to visitors on Thursday 26 November from 10am to 7pm and lasts until Friday 27 November from 2pm to 8pm at the Westin Mina Seyahi Hotel Dubai, where it is expected to receive more than 1500 attendees from 60 countries.
